The Beauty of Hate.

Wednesday, March 8th, 2017
Hate is powerful.

It’s also pretty scary when it’s directed at you.

My sister hates me. I know this to be true as she told me the last time I saw her, which is a few years ago now. Yip, those words ” I hate you” came out of her mouth.

I think she has hated me since I was born. I ruined her life by turning up.

Here’s the most frightening thing. I think I have hated myself, too, for making her life so awful, just by being born.

Ridiculous, right? But when we are in a family relationship with someone we just want them to be happy. She was surprised to learn that I don’t hate her back. Fortunately for me I had meditated a few days before I met with her and received the insight I needed so when she told me she hated me, I simply said, “I know”.

Do I hate the cruelty of being disconnected from her? Yes. Do I hate this situation? Yes. Do I hate feeling powerless about it? Yes. Does it crush my spirit when I text or call her and she never, ever responds? Oh yes. Does it hurt like f*ck? Yes.

Keanu Reeves said grief changes shape but it never leaves.

The beauty of being in excruciatingly painful situations is that it drives you to go deep and to turn to something bigger than yourself. It has a beautiful purpose. To connect you to your Higher Self, to the Universe, to remind you where you came from.

Why does my sister hate me? So I can learn the gift of loving myself.

For that I am truly grateful. Both my siblings and the love of my life have done more to drive me towards my dreams than any other people on earth. For that I am truly grateful. They are also the relationships that have been the most painful for me. For that I am also truly grateful.

If you are in pain, conflict or stress in any of your relationships then I encourage you to look at it from the Divine Perspective. How is this situation actually to your benefit in the long run? How could this be perfectly orchestrated to bring you what you truly need? Most importantly, what decisions are you about the situation, or yourself?

Do I miss them all? With every beat of my heart. You have not truly loved until you can love the people who have hurt you the most.

Turn hate into gold by opening your heart to the pain and allowing love that you are to propel you into your dreams. If you have something or someone in your life that you hate do what it takes to let it go, not just for them but also for you.

Sending you love and blessings,
Rebecca

p.s. This was tough to write but please know that I am not looking for validation or sympathy. I just know that I would have loved to have read something like this from someone, years ago.
